Why would you/should you donate?

  • WTATA is over four years old (that's a long time in 'net-speak). Before us, finding your Whose Line fix was nearly impossible. We know, because we tried. If you love WL as much as we do, think about helping us out. :)

  • We have spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours working on this site (and definitely hundreds of dollars in lost productivity). It has evolved through several transitions and is what you see today. Think of all the time we spent making this site just for you! :)

Where does your money go? Hosting, primarily. The wtata.com domain and it's subsequent hosting cost money. Monthly. Your payment helps offset our out-of-pocket expense. Further, we have forum moderators that do their job for free. Occasionally, they will receive a small stipend from your donations.

A Rank Image goes next to your username on the forum and is displayed in all posts. It shows that you are a special, financially supporting member. Each level gets an image representative of their level of contribution.
2 A Rank Title goes above your Rank Image. Bronze donators receive one that simply says, "Bronze Donator." The higher levels get to set their own, if you wish. Simply PM Henway with what you'd like it to say.
3 All Donators have their username visibly placed on the donator usergroups matrix!

An e-mail forward is simply yourname@wtata.com, which forwards to your current e-mail address. It, in itself, is not an actual e-mail account.

An e-mail account, yourname@wtata.com is exactly that: An e-mail account that you can login to and check like a @hotmail or @gmail account. It is webmail and pop/smtp compatible.

Gold and Platinum members will receive immediate access to the coveted DD forum. You will NOT have to post 5 posts or manually request special access. Paypal donations garner immediate access. Google Checkout donations may take up to one hour.

We have a hidden forum for senior WTATA members and for Platinum members. Newbies, lurkers, anonymous users, etc cannot view it.

A one or two month premium membership to Megaupload is simply that... use it however you like! :)
10 Reputation Points can be given and taken from other users on the board in a show of good faith or to indicate a job well done. Points accumulate by days on the board and number of posts. Donators receive extra points to use however they like. Lead, Bronze & Silver donators will only receive points when using Google Checkout. Gold & Platinum donators receive points using either Paypal or GCO.
11 MegaVideo is a new MegaUpload venture similar to YouTube. MegaUpload accounts are interchangeable with MegaVideo.
